Choose the most comfortable means of transport and the most suitable route so that your holiday gets off to a good start!
By car
Take the Brenner motorway A22. Take the exit Bressanone/Brixen Nord exit and drive in the direction of Brunico/Val Pusteria. Pass the villages of Vandoies, Chienes, San Lorenzo, Brunico and Perca. After 35 km, you will arrive in Valdaora.
Coming from the East via Lienz – San Candido or during the summer you can also take the road to Val Pusteria via Passo Stalle. For updates click on www.provinz.bz.it/vmz/report/index_d.asp?Type+2 .
Coming from Venice and Treviso, the A27 takes you towards Belluno and following that, the SS51 to Cadore, Cortina and Dobbiaco. Take the Val Pusteria road SS49 to Valdaora.
Coming from Triest (Friuli Venezia Giulia region) take the route via the A23 until you get to exit Carnia-Tolmezzo , via the SS52 to Auronzo di Cadore and via the Passo Monte Croce to Sesto, San Candido and Dobbiaco. The Val Pusteria road SS49 then takes you to Valdaora.
By train
With the Brenner railway you reach Fortezza from the South and from the North. Local trains then take you to Valdaora.

By bus
Rauch-Reisen run a daily service from Munich to South Tyrol for only €25 per person and the same price for the return journey! In our region, there are numerous bus routes, which can be used quite cheaply if you have the Mobilcard South Tyrol at hand! The Museummobil card allows you to visit 80 museums in the region free of charge.
